Wow, it's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is now four days away. Thanksgiving usually starts off the holiday season for many, but it seems as if the holidays come earlier and earlier every year for others. >This past month The Brewers' Association held their annual Craft Brewers Conference in Chicago along with the bi-annual World Beer Cup. A few local and regional breweries from our area did quite well, including some standouts like Iron Hill Wilmington's Gold Medal for their Russian Imperial Stout (which is absolutely awesome), and Troeg's Gold Medal for their Troegenator Double Bock (another awesome brew as well). Yesterday, I had the chance to help pour with the Dock Street Brewing Company at the Philadelphia Oktoberfest. With 27 different breweries in attendance , there was a plethora of great fall beer being served.
