>Tastings on Tuesdays for July 14th

>For this week's installment of ToT Scoats and I were joined by Mark Sablowsky, owner of The Craft Beer Outlet and Beer Outlet, and Pete LaVerghetta, an extreme beer enthusiast and long time Grey Lodge patron. Things became really interesting when we all took our seats. Three out of the four of us had brought aged beers that were bound to be good. We were like kids at Christmas. We couldn't wait to dive in. Well, let's just say that there was nothing but coal in our stockings. The first beer, and … [Read more...]

>In A Nutshell…

>Wow, where do I begin? First, I must apologize. I have been so busy lately with writing a review for the Philly Beer Scene Magazine, booking and attending Tastings on Tuesdays, and setting up an every Thursday night event at the Craft Beer Outlet. With all of this on my shoulders, I have not had the time to get to any of my personal tasting notes. Hopefully that will change in a few days. Last week's ToT went extremely well. There were a few aged bottles in the mix. I will have the results from … [Read more...]

Our first guest will be Mike Banas from Northeast Philadelphia on Tuesday July 7th. We're looking to taste up to five beers, but I'm not sure which ones. >Tastings On Tuesdays

>What is this, you ask? Well Tastings on Tuesdays came about over the course of the past few days. I have been talking to Scoats, Grey Lodge co-owner, about hosting a tasting every now and again, and it seems as if we have turned it into a weekly event. The ieda of T.O.T. is this; we, Scoats and I, would like to invite YOU, the public, to a tasting with us. The way this will work is simple. Each week, Scoats and I will chose a person or two to join us at the Grey Lodge on Tuesday night … [Read more...]
