Philly Beer Week 2011

Ladies and Gentleman, It's been announced! Philly Beer Week 2011 will kick off on Friday, June 3rd and run until Sunday, June 12th.  As always, the 10 day celebration of beer will begin at the Opening Tap on June 3rd at 7:30pm .  This year it will be held at Independence Visitor Center located at 6th & Market streets. Flying Fish Exit 9 Hoppy Scarlet Ale

Named after the NJ Turnpike exit for Rutgers University, Exit 9 Hoppy Scarlet Ale is the newest addition to the Flying Fish Exit Series.  Head brewer, Casey Hughes, and owner, Gene Muller, pay homage to the Rutger Scarlet Knights this time around with this 9%ABV red ale.
