>Sign of Things To Come…

>Wow, I’ve been busy. Since Sunday, my schedule has been booked. This is a good thing though. It’s good to have things to write about. Finding the time to do it is another story…

All things should be good for the first Tastings on Tuesdays at the Grey Lodge. Our first guest will be Mike Banas from Northeast Philadelphia on Tuesday July 7th. We’re looking to taste up to five beers, but I’m not sure which ones. Check back next Wednesday to see which beers were reviewed and how they ranked.

Wednesday, July 15th Flying Fish is releasing their new Exit Series project, Exit 11. Exit 11 will be a hop driven American wheat beer. It is brewed with 50% Belgian pale malt and 50% white wheat and then hopped with Columbus, Palisade, and Amarillo hops. The official release parties will be held at, Varga Bar and the Swift Half Pub from 7-9pm. For more info check Flying Fish Exit Series.

Finally, I would like to thank Steve Hawk and the ALEiens homebrew club for allowing me to co-judge their War of the Weizens competition last night. It was a great experience and I learned many things from members Carl and Josh who have actually taken the BJCP exam. Congratulations to the three winners, excellent beer!!!
